Justice for George Floyd.

It’s sad to see black people dying on the streets. This protest started after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was buying something at the store when someone called the cops on him. After they arrived, he was handcuffed on the ground pleading to breathe. However, the police officer didn’t listen.

His own last words of his entire life were “Please I can’t breathe”. You might be asking yourself why in the world the cop or cops didn’t care?. Well, It has been like this in many years. Black lives were murdered and never gotten the justice they deserve.

It’s now the fifth day of these ongoing protests. It’s now understood the fact that everyone in any state or around the world is angry, furious, and wants justice for Mr. Floyd.

This tells us how people want to get change. This change needs to happen now; otherwise, these protests are going to continue. Looting isn’t legal, but these people are sick and tired of seeing black men and women getting killed on the streets.

This is unacceptable because we are all equal and deserve the same justice. However, when the citizens don’t get what they started looting. Police are meant to protect the citizens not killing them one by one. We now know a clear proof of how black lives were devastated. I don’t think protestors are going to stop protesting until they achieve their goal of holding accountable the cops who were involved in this event.

Looting, Destroying Small Business

I don’t advocate or support looting or even destroying, but I understand their anger. Of course, we know the constitution allows freedom of assembly or press. People need to understand the difference between peaceful protest and unpeaceful protest which could lead to looting or even death. Of course, they can protest peacefully, but they shouldn’t destroy the livelihood of another human being. When they destroyed target they took away jobs.
